A QR code is printed once, but the business behind it keeps changing: the menu, the offer, the phone number, the UPI ID. The best dynamic QR code generator in Bengaluru is the one that lets the paper stay put while everything it points to moves. KaamGPT QR Studio prints a permanent short link inside every dynamic code, so you can change a QR code after printing without touching the sticker, the standee or the table tents.
It is also a design and print studio. Choose from 38 code types, style the code with your colours and logo, and a measured scan score tells you whether it will read off paper before you order a print run. Drop it into one of 188 ready frames, lay out a cut-ready sticker sheet, then watch scans arrive by device and hour. QR Studio runs inside your KaamGPT workspace on every plan, Free included.
- 38code types, from UPI and Wi-Fi to Google Review and link-in-bio
- 188print-ready frames, led by 48 signature designs
- 121glyphs, plus emoji and your own pictures, for editing any frame
- ₹0Free plan with 5 dynamic codes and 1,000 scans a month
Why do QR codes printed across Bengaluru keep going out of date?
Walk down any shopping street and count the codes that no longer do what their owner wants. A café moved its menu PDF. A showroom's festive offer ended weeks ago and the window poster still promises it. A clinic changed its appointment number. Each code was made on a free site, printed in hundreds, and is now wrong or dead, because a static code carries its destination inside the pattern and nobody can edit it.
The second problem is silence. A free code tells you nothing: not whether anyone scanned the poster, not which of your placements earned the visit, not whether the brand-coloured design your agency sent even reads on an ordinary phone camera. Picking the best dynamic QR code generator in Bengaluru is really about closing both gaps at once: codes you can repoint, and numbers you can believe.
- Laminated table cards, standees and brochures get reprinted because one link, number or UPI ID changed.
- Expired offers stay on walls for months, and every scan lands on a dead page with nowhere to go next.
- Brand colours and oversized logos produce codes that look polished on screen and fail on a budget phone camera.
- Nobody can say which placement drove the scans, so the next print order is a guess.
- Making one code per table, flat or product by hand eats an afternoon and invites copy-paste mistakes.
Eight things QR Studio does that a free generator cannot
These are the capabilities that separate the best dynamic QR code generator in Bengaluru from a free download, and nearly all of them work on the Free plan within its limits.
Repoint codes, with full history
Every dynamic code encodes a permanent kaamgpt.com short link, and where that link sends people is a setting you can edit whenever you like. Each change is saved as a new version rather than an overwrite, so you can see what a code did last Tuesday and restore an earlier destination in one click. The printed square never changes.
38 code types, each with its own form
Website, WhatsApp chat with the first message already typed, phone call, SMS, email, UPI payment, Wi-Fi, contact card, Google Review, Google Maps, menu, coupon, PDF brochure, app download, event and link-in-bio, among others. Each form asks for what that type needs, such as a UPI ID or an Instagram handle, and flags input that looks wrong before a code exists.
A scan score that is measured
Style dots in five shapes and eyes in four, add a linear or radial gradient and a centre logo. QR Studio then scores the design out of 100 from luminance contrast, the way a camera actually sees it, and runs a real decode test at two sizes, so a branded QR code with logo is proven readable before the printer sees it.
188 frames you can edit and print
The frame library opens with 48 signature designs, twelve each for Google Reviews, Instagram, WhatsApp and YouTube, then 120 generated frames for everyday messages and 20 print formats. Duplicate any frame to change its words, colours, gradients or layout, or add any of 121 glyphs, an emoji or your own picture. The print studio then lays codes out on A4, A3, A5 or US Letter with cut marks.
Pause, schedule, cap or lock
Pause a code, give it a start and an end date, cap it at a number of scans, make it one-time for a single-use coupon, or put it behind a password. When a code is closed, the person scanning sees a page in your own words, such as where the new offer lives, rather than a browser error.
Routing rules with a simulator
One printed code can send Android phones to the Play Store and iPhones to the App Store, weekday office hours to a call and evenings to WhatsApp, or phones set to Kannada to a Kannada page. Rules are read top to bottom and the first match wins; a weighted A/B split is available. The simulator tests a visitor you describe without spending a scan.
Scan counts that admit gaps
See scans, distinct daily visitors, device, operating system, hour of day, what each scan ended in and, where it can be determined, location. Anything that cannot be placed is labelled Unknown instead of being quietly dropped. Refused scans are counted too, so a row of people who saw your closing message tells you an old poster is still up somewhere.
Hundreds of codes from one spreadsheet
Bulk QR code generation starts from a CSV file or a numbered range, and the whole file is checked before a single code is created. A bad row comes back as a plain sentence naming the row and the column. A naming template turns a table-number column into codes called Table 1, Table 2 and onwards, delivered as one ZIP of SVG files.
How does a QR Studio code go from idea to a printed sheet?
Choose the job, then the kind
Pick one of 38 types, such as UPI payment, Google Review or menu, and fill in the short form it shows. Then choose dynamic or static. Dynamic codes can be repointed later; static ones carry their data in the image itself, which Wi-Fi logins and contact cards require.
Style it until it scans
Set colours, dot and eye shapes, a gradient and your logo. The scan score and the decode check update as you work, and every finding says what to change, whether that is a lighter background, a darker foreground or a smaller logo.
Frame it and print
Place the code in a frame from the library or your own edited copy, with your brand kit filling in the name and logo. Download PNG, SVG, JPG or PDF, or lay out a sticker sheet with cut marks and a gutter for the print shop.
Add rules, limits or a schedule
Optionally route by device, language, weekday or time, set an end date or a scan cap, or add a password. Test the rules in the simulator with a visitor you describe, say an iPhone set to Kannada on a Sunday evening, before the code goes on a wall.
Watch, compare, repoint
Today's scans appear on the dashboard as they are recorded. Group placements into a campaign to compare them by distinct visitors, check refused scans, and when the menu or the offer changes, edit the destination. The printed code carries on as before.
Four Bengaluru businesses, four jobs for one printed code
Illustrative scenarios built on how QR Studio works, showing the kind of problem each type of business brings to it.
A 70-seat café on 80 Feet Road, Koramangala
- The situation
- Breakfast and dinner menus are separate PDFs, prices change every quarter, and the laminated table cards were reprinted twice last year because the menu link moved. The owner has no idea how many guests open the menu at all.
- How KaamGPT fits
- One dynamic menu code per table, made in a single bulk job and printed as table tents from the menus shelf. A time rule sends scans before noon to breakfast and later scans to dinner. If the café moves to table ordering in RestroMenu, the same cards are repointed.
- What changes
- The cards stay on the tables through every menu change, and the dashboard shows which hours guests actually read the menu.
A silk saree showroom on Sampige Road, Malleshwaram
- The situation
- Festival offers run for a few weeks, announced on a window poster and a WhatsApp broadcast at the same time. Last season's poster kept promising a discount long after it ended, and nobody could tell which channel brought buyers in.
- How KaamGPT fits
- A dynamic coupon code with an end date for the window, plus a tracked short link for the WhatsApp Blast campaign, both filed in one QR campaign. After the end date, scanners see the showroom's own note pointing to the new collection. The campaign view ranks each placement by distinct visitors.
- What changes
- The owner sees which channel earned the footfall, and a stale poster sends people to the new stock instead of a dead page.
A residential project's sales office in Whitefield
- The situation
- Brochures, site hoardings and flat-door cards all need codes, one per tower and unit, and the sales desk numbers change as staff rotate. Weekend visitors from nearby tech parks often prefer WhatsApp to a phone call.
- How KaamGPT fits
- A bulk job from the inventory spreadsheet creates a code per unit, each pointing at that unit's floor-plan PDF. A shared enquiry code uses rules: weekday office hours ring the sales desk, evenings and Sundays open a WhatsApp chat with an enquiry already typed. A new number is a destination edit.
- What changes
- Every printed piece keeps working through price revisions and staff changes, and weekend buyers reach someone on the channel they prefer.
A four-chair salon off 12th Main, Indiranagar
- The situation
- The owner wants more Google reviews, and a vendor suggested a card that asks how the visit went first and only sends happy clients to Google. That practice breaks Google's review policies and can cost a business its reviews.
- How KaamGPT fits
- QR Studio's review page shows the public Google review button to every client first, with a private feedback box after it for anything they would rather tell the owner directly. The code sits in a frame from the Google Reviews shelf, filled with the salon's name and logo from the brand kit.
- What changes
- Reviews are gathered in a way the owner can defend, and private complaints reach the team instead of disappearing.
How does QR Studio compare with a free generator or a link shortener?
Most Bengaluru businesses start with a free static generator, and some pair a link shortener with a design app to imitate a dynamic code. This is how the three approaches differ once the codes are on paper.
| What matters | KaamGPT QR Studio | Free static QR website | Link shortener plus a design app |
|---|---|---|---|
| Change the destination after printing | Yes, with version history and one-click restore | No, the link is baked into the pattern | Usually, by editing the short link |
| Check the design scans before printing | Measured score plus a real decode test at two sizes | On-screen preview only | Left to the designer's eye |
| Frames and print layout | 188 editable frames and sticker sheets with cut marks | A plain square, sometimes a basic border | Built by hand for every code |
| Routing by device, language or time | Ordered rules, A/B split and a simulator | Not possible | Not usually part of a basic shortener |
| Pause, expiry, scan caps, passwords | All four, with a closing page in your words | Not possible | Varies; often only delete |
| Scan numbers | Scans, distinct visitors, device, hour, refused scans | None | Click counts on the short link |
| Hundreds of codes at once | CSV or numbered range, validated before creation | One at a time | Manual, one design per link |
The honest verdict. For a single Wi-Fi code at home, a free static generator is enough, and QR Studio makes the same static code if that is all you need. Once codes go on paid print, change often, or have to prove which placement worked, the best dynamic QR code generator in Bengaluru is one that repoints, scan-tests, frames and counts in one place. A shortener plus a design app gets close, but leaves you juggling two tools and no print layout.
What QR Studio costs on each KaamGPT plan
QR Studio is part of every KaamGPT plan rather than a separate purchase, and the plans differ in volume: total codes, dynamic codes, scans a month, landing pages, bulk batch size and export resolution. Prices are in INR and the exact amount is confirmed at checkout. For a shop testing the best dynamic QR code generator in Bengaluru on one counter, the Free plan is usually enough to prove the idea. Compare everything on the KaamGPT pricing page.

- Passing the monthly scan allowance never stops a printed code; the extra scans are metered from the prepaid KaamGPT wallet and charged in blocks afterwards.
- Bulk jobs can also be metered from the wallet; if the balance falls short, the job is refused in plain words before any code is created.
- Quarterly, half-yearly and yearly billing lower the effective monthly price, and yearly works out 20% below twelve monthly payments.
What should the best dynamic QR code generator in Bengaluru check before you print?
Most failed codes fail for physical reasons, not software ones. The QR standard asks for a clear margin, the quiet zone, four modules wide on every side. Designers trim it to squeeze a layout, and phones then lose the code on a busy poster. QR Studio keeps a four-module quiet zone by default, and its sticker sheets leave a gutter so a guillotine that wanders cannot shave it off.
Contrast is the second trap. A camera reads greyscale, so a mid-blue code on maroon can look bold to a person and vanish for a phone. The scan score measures luminance contrast using the same ratio the WCAG 2.1 guideline defines, marks light-on-dark codes down, and caps the verdict at unlikely whenever a serious problem exists, however good the rest of the arithmetic looks.
- Keep the logo between a tenth and three-tenths of the code's width; the logo control shows how much error correction it is spending.
- Print dark modules on a light background, even when the brand colour is light.
- Trust the decode check over the preview: Verified means it read at business-card size, not only on your monitor.
- Print one test sheet and scan it under the real lighting; a dim bar in Indiranagar is not your office.
Which codes should stay static, and which need to be dynamic?
Static is not a lesser option, just a different one. A static code prints its data straight into the pattern, needs no internet to decode, and keeps working even if the service that made it disappears. Wi-Fi logins and contact cards must be static, because the phone has to read the details directly, and plain text is static by nature.
Dynamic suits anything that might change: menus, offers, phone numbers, review links, brochures. Payments need a moment's thought. A static UPI code is read directly by UPI apps at the counter. A dynamic UPI code opens a short page with a pay button first, which adds a tap at a busy till but is the right call for anything printed on invoices, where a UPI ID change would otherwise strand every bill already sent.
- Static: Wi-Fi, contact card, plain text, and a counter UPI code that will never change.
- Dynamic: menus, offers, review links, brochures, and anything printed on an invoice or packaging.
- Always dynamic: link-in-bio pages and app-download codes, which have nothing to encode without a server.
- When unsure, choose dynamic; a static code cannot be converted once it is printed.
How should you read QR scan numbers without fooling yourself?
Useful QR code scan analytics start with honest counting. QR Studio counts distinct visitors per day using a salted hash whose salt rotates daily, so it can say how many different phones scanned today without following anyone across weeks, and it stores no raw IP address. Days are cut at midnight in your workspace's own time zone, so a late dinner service is not split across two dates.
Then read the refusals, not only the successes. A count of people who saw your closing message is really a list of posters still on walls after the offer ended. To compare placements, give each one its own code and group them in a campaign, which ranks by distinct visitors rather than raw scans, since one bored diner can scan a table card five times. For outcomes, define a goal and call the conversion beacon from your thank-you page.
- One code per placement; never reuse a single code on the counter, the window and the brochure if you want to compare them.
- Expect some scans to show location as Unknown; that is an honest label, not a fault.
- Review weekly rather than hourly, because small placements need time to show a pattern.
What QR Studio does differently because it lives inside KaamGPT
It already knows your tables
The Connect screen turns RestroMenu tables into re-pointable codes that carry each table's ordering token, adds tracked links to WhatsApp Blast campaigns, and builds codes for your review page and public profile. Re-running an import adds only what is new.
Printed codes are never held hostage
Going over a month's scan allowance never switches a code off mid-campaign. Extra scans are metered, the wallet warns you, and an unpaid balance is handled by a person rather than by an automatic cut-off.
The preview is the print
Twin renderers in the browser and on the server are tested to produce identical output for all 188 frames, so the sticker sheet from the printer matches the design you approved on screen.
Privacy built into the counting
No raw IP address is stored and there is no tracking of individuals: visitor counts rely on a hash whose salt changes daily, and each workspace's data is isolated from every other at the database level.
Closed codes still help people
A paused, expired, not-yet-started or used-up code shows a page in your own words instead of an error, so someone scanning an old poster can still be sent somewhere useful.
No borrowed logos in templates
No platform's trademark ships in any frame: reviews use a star and messaging a chat bubble. If you hold the right to a brand mark, upload it yourself; nothing in your print carries a licensing choice you did not make.
Which Bengaluru trades get the most from dynamic codes?
- Restaurants & cafésMenu codes that switch by time of day, and table codes that can later point at ordering without new cards.
- Retail & showroomsFestival coupons with end dates, and window posters compared against broadcast links in one campaign.
- Real estate projectsOne code per unit from the inventory sheet, so brochures survive price revisions and sales-team changes.
- Clinics & diagnosticsAppointment, map and report-download codes whose numbers and links change without reprinting waiting-room cards.
- Salons & spasReview cards that ask every client publicly, with a private feedback box placed after the Google button.
- Coaching & educationAdmission brochures and open-day codes that close after the intake and point to the next batch.
- Events & weddingsInvitation codes for venue maps and schedules that can be updated when the plan changes on the day.
- Wholesale & distributionCatalogue and carton codes generated from a stock spreadsheet and printed as sticker sheets with cut marks.
Where dynamic codes earn their keep in Bengaluru
Bengaluru's codes live in very different places. On Commercial Street and in Chickpet they sit in shop windows and on wholesale cartons, printed in bulk and rarely replaced. In Malleshwaram and Jayanagar 4th Block they sit on saree-shop counters and clinic reception desks. In Koramangala and along Indiranagar's 100 Feet Road they are on café tables and salon mirrors, and in Whitefield they cover project hoardings and notice boards near the tech parks.
Each setting changes what the best dynamic QR code generator in Bengaluru has to cope with: outdoor boards that must still scan after the rains, evening-only offers that need time rules in India Standard Time, phones set to Kannada, and batches of hundreds for one project launch. 100+ companies across India use KaamGPT, and QR Studio sits in the same workspace they already use for billing, menus and WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions
22 answersHow much does KaamGPT QR Studio cost?
QR Studio is included in every KaamGPT plan. Free costs ₹0 and allows 25 codes, up to 5 of them dynamic, with 1,000 scans a month. Starter is ₹999 a month, Growth ₹2,999 and Business ₹7,999, each raising the code, scan and landing-page limits. Prices are in INR and the exact amount is confirmed at checkout.
Is there a free plan or a free trial for dynamic QR codes?
Both. The Free plan costs ₹0 and is not a trial: it includes 25 codes in total, up to 5 of them dynamic, 1,000 scans a month, one landing page and 300 DPI exports, with a small KaamGPT footer on landing pages. Starter, Growth and Business each come with a 14-day trial, so you can test higher limits and unbranded pages first.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static code stores its destination inside the pattern, so it works offline but can never be edited. A dynamic code stores a permanent short link, and QR Studio decides where that link goes each time someone scans, which lets you repoint it, add rules and count scans. Wi-Fi and contact cards must be static; menus and offers are better dynamic.
Will my printed codes stop working if we cross the scan limit or move to a smaller plan?
No. Printed codes keep resolving after a month's scan allowance is used up; the extra scans are metered from your prepaid KaamGPT wallet, and the wallet's low-balance alert tells you. Plan limits control how many codes you can create, not whether existing ones answer. A code stops only when you pause it, schedule an end date or cap its scans.
How do I get started, and how long does setup take?
Create a workspace through <a href="/signup">KaamGPT sign-up</a>, open QR Studio and pick a code type. Filling in the brand kit with your business name, tagline, contact details, social handles and logo takes a few minutes, and frames then pick up your name and logo automatically. Most people design, scan-check and download their first dynamic code in the same sitting; bulk imports and rules can come later.
Is our scan data private, and who owns the codes?
Your codes, destinations, frames and scan history belong to your workspace and are isolated from every other workspace at the database level. QR Studio never stores a scanner's raw IP address; distinct visitors are counted with a hash whose salt changes every day, so nobody can be followed across weeks. Destinations are also checked against a blocklist when saved and again when scanned.
What support comes with QR Studio?
Support follows your KaamGPT plan. Free workspaces get community support, Starter adds email support, Growth adds priority email support, and Business includes priority support with onboarding help. For print questions such as sizing, contrast or sticker-sheet layout, the scan score and its written findings inside the designer usually answer the question before you need to ask anyone.
How can I talk to someone or get a demo of QR Studio?
Call or WhatsApp +91 79767 82366. Tell us where your codes will live, whether table tents, shop windows, brochures or site hoardings, and roughly how many you need. We can show a code being repointed live, the scan check running on your own brand colours, and a sticker sheet laid out for your printer.
How is QR Studio different from a free QR code website?
A free website usually makes a static code: fine for Wi-Fi, fixed forever for anything else, and silent about scans. What makes a tool the best dynamic QR code generator in Bengaluru for printed work is everything after the code: repointing with history, a measured scan check, 188 frames, sticker sheets, routing rules, expiry controls and scan counts. QR Studio still makes static codes when static is right.
Does QR Studio connect with RestroMenu and other KaamGPT apps?
Yes. The Connect screen turns each RestroMenu table into its own dynamic code carrying that table's ordering token, creates tracked links for WhatsApp Blast campaigns, builds a Google review page with its code, and makes a code for your public KaamGPT profile. Re-running an import adds only what is new, and unlinking an item keeps its printed code working.
Who is QR Studio not a good fit for?
Not everyone needs the best dynamic QR code generator in Bengaluru. If you want one Wi-Fi code for your home or a single link you will never change, any free generator will do. QR Studio is also not an ordering system; restaurants that want table orders should look at RestroMenu. And a dynamic code needs a phone with internet to reach its destination, so where there is no signal at all, static is the honest choice.
Does QR Studio handle Bengaluru time and phones set to Kannada?
Yes. Weekday and time-of-day rules run in your workspace's own time zone, India Standard Time by default, so an after-7-pm rule switches at 7 pm on MG Road rather than on a distant server's clock. A language rule matches the phone's own language setting, so phones set to Kannada can open a Kannada page while others see English.
Can I manage QR codes from my phone?
Yes. QR Studio runs in the browser and its layout adapts to a phone, with navigation in a drawer, so you can repoint a code, pause an offer or check today's scans from the shop floor. Designing print artwork and laying out sticker sheets is more comfortable on a laptop. People scanning your codes need nothing more than a phone camera.
We already have codes from another QR service. Can we move them?
Printed codes from another dynamic service carry that service's link, so nobody can transfer them. The practical route is to keep the old account running while you replace codes gradually: list your current destinations in a spreadsheet, generate replacements in one bulk job, and swap cards as they wear out. Old static codes need no migration, because no server sits behind them.
Can I put my logo in the centre without breaking the scan?
Usually, yes. The logo can take between a tenth and three-tenths of the code's width; QR Studio clears the modules behind it and raises error correction to cover the gap, showing the level it is using. The scan score and decode check then confirm whether the result reads. Oversized logos and pale brand colours are the usual reasons a design fails.
Should a UPI payment QR at my counter be static or dynamic?
For a till where the UPI ID will not change, static is quicker because UPI apps read it directly. A dynamic UPI code opens a short page with a pay button first, which adds a step but lets you change the UPI ID later. Choose dynamic wherever a code will outlive the UPI ID, such as invoices, printed catalogues or standees across branches.
How do I make a Google review QR code that follows Google's rules?
Point a dynamic code at QR Studio's review page. It shows the public Google review button to every visitor first and places a private feedback box after it, so nobody is filtered by how happy they are. Selectively asking only satisfied customers breaks Google's review policies. For the profile side, read the <a href="/best-google-business-profile-software-in-bengaluru">Google Business Profile guide</a>.
Can I create hundreds of codes at once for tables, flats or products?
Yes. Upload a CSV or set a numbered range, and QR Studio validates every row before creating anything, naming the exact row and column of any problem. A naming template turns a table-number column into codes called Table 1, Table 2 and so on. Batch size depends on plan, from 25 on Free to 10,000 on Business, and results download as a ZIP of SVGs.
Does QR Studio show where people scanned from?
Only as far as it can honestly tell. Device type, operating system and hour of day are recorded for every scan. Country and city appear when the location can be determined and are otherwise shown as Unknown, rather than guessed or silently dropped. To compare placements reliably, give each placement its own code and group them in a campaign.
What size should a printed QR code be?
It depends on viewing distance and how much the code holds, so test rather than guess. QR Studio's decode check says when a design reads at business-card size, and when it only works larger it suggests printing at least 30 mm across. Keep the four-module quiet zone clear, go bigger for posters read from a distance, and laminate outdoor boards before the rains.
Can a QR code expire or work only once?
Yes. Give a code a start and end date, cap it at a number of scans, or make it one-time for a single-use coupon; two phones scanning the last use at the same moment cannot both succeed. A password gate is available too. When a code closes, scanners see your own message and a link onward instead of an error page.
Can our developers pull QR data into our own software?
On Growth and Business, yes. The developer API, authenticated with a KaamGPT API key, can list and create codes, change a destination and read scans, addressing each code by the short code that is printed. Signed webhooks can notify your server of a scan, a first scan, a scan milestone, an expiry or a conversion. Deleting codes through the API is deliberately not possible.
