Choosing the best local SEO agency for hotels and resorts in Bengaluru comes down to who will look after the panel a traveller sees when they search your name or open Google Maps near the airport. That panel decides whether a guest books with you directly, picks a travel site beside your name, or scrolls to the property next door. For most properties it is the first impression, and it is often set up wrongly: opening hours on a hotel, the restaurant buried inside the room listing, a business name stuffed with the word luxury, and reviews left unanswered for months.

This page is about that map layer and nothing wider, the part a local SEO agency for hotels and resorts in Bangalore is hired to own. It explains how Google treats lodging differently from shops and restaurants, which outlets may carry their own profile, how your own room rate can appear on Maps without a placement fee, and how guests searching near Kempegowda airport, BIEC on Tumkur Road or Manyata Tech Park find a bed. It also covers resorts and homestays on the edge of Bangalore, and what the work costs per property.

How do travellers pick a Bengaluru hotel on Google Maps?

Guests arrive at the map with a constraint first and a hotel second. A traveller on a dawn flight wants a bed close to Devanahalli. A visitor to an exhibition wants a room on the Tumkur Road side, near BIEC. A consultant on a week's project wants to walk or take a short cab to Manyata Tech Park or a Whitefield campus. Their searches read like hotel near bangalore airport, stay near BIEC or business hotel near Manyata, and Google answers with a map pack, not with ten blue links.

Leisure guests behave differently. Couples, families and groups of friends planning a weekend away compare resorts on Kanakapura Road, around Nandi Hills in Chikkaballapur district, and farm stays off Sarjapur Road. They judge by photos, the distance from home, the pool, the food, whether pets are welcome and, above all, recent reviews. Typical searches are resort near Bangalore for weekend, pet friendly resort near Nandi Hills or homestay near me with pool.

In both cases the profile does the selling before any website loads. Rates, photos, review snippets and amenities are read on the panel itself, and a guest who likes what they see may still book through whichever travel site sits beside your name. Local SEO is the work of making that panel accurate, complete and trusted, so more of those decisions end with you.

What does local SEO for a hotel or resort include?

Our local SEO service for lodging is mostly profile work, done property by property. Each item below is something we set up once and then maintain every month.

Lodging profile set up to Google's rules

We claim or recover the listing, set the primary category to the lodging type you actually are, such as Hotel, Resort Hotel or Bed and Breakfast, remove opening hours, fill check-in and check-out times, and confirm the address pin sits on your gate rather than the main road.

Google Business Profile in detail →

Outlet profiles for restaurant, bar and banquets

Where an in-house restaurant, café or bar serves the public, Google expects it to have a profile of its own. We create those listings with their own categories, hours, menus and photos, and keep them clearly linked to the hotel without duplicating it.

Local SEO in detail →

Amenities, attributes and photos

Pool, parking, airport shuttle, free Wi-Fi, pet policy and accessibility are recorded as attributes, and the photo set is rebuilt around rooms, bathrooms, views, food and the arrival experience, labelled so guests see each room type honestly.

Local SEO in detail →

Free booking links on Maps

We check whether your booking engine or channel manager already connects you to Google's free booking links, help you switch them on if not, and make sure the link lands on your own booking page so the direct rate appears beside the travel sites.

Local SEO in detail →

Review requests and replies

We set up a simple request after check-out, by email or WhatsApp with consent, and draft replies to every review within an agreed window, with an escalation route for complaints the general manager should answer personally.

Local SEO in detail →

Location pages for proximity searches

A short page on your site for each journey that matters, for example from the airport, from BIEC or from Manyata, with honest drive times, transfer options and landmarks, gives Google a reason to show you for near-me searches.

SEO in detail →

A direct-booking landing page

If your site has no clean room page to send free booking links and the profile to, our web team builds one, with rates, room photos and a booking button, priced separately as a project.

How does the best local SEO agency for hotels and resorts in Bengaluru work property by property?

Every property gets its own plan because every property sits in a different search neighbourhood. A business hotel near Outer Ring Road is fighting for weekday corporate searches; a resort on Kanakapura Road is fighting for Friday-evening leisure searches from people still at their desks in the city. We decide which searches each location should own, then shape the profile, photos and reviews around those searches.

For a local SEO agency for hotels and resorts in Bangalore, groups with several properties are the real test. They are handled as separate listings under one owner account, because Google ranks each address on its own. Shared brand standards keep the names, logos and reply tone consistent across the portfolio.

Map the arrival routes

We list the places your guests come from, such as the airport, a tech park, an exhibition centre or a hospital, and make sure the profile, photos and site mention those routes in plain, accurate language.

Pick categories with care

The primary lodging category does most of the work. Secondary categories are added only where the property genuinely offers the service, such as a wedding venue for a resort with a licensed lawn.

Treat photos as inventory

Each room type gets current photos, taken in daylight, so a guest booking a standard room is not shown the suite. Old renovation-era images are retired.

Answer before you are asked

Questions about early check-in, airport pick-up, parking for coaches or pets are answered on the profile and on the site, so travellers find the answer without calling.

Watch rate accuracy

Google weighs historical price accuracy when ranking free booking links, so we flag mismatches between the Maps rate and the rate a guest sees on your booking page.

What does a hotel pay for local SEO with KaamGPT?

Each location starts at ₹4,999 a month for local SEO, and a property's corrected profile is usually live in around 14 days. A hotel with a separately listed restaurant or banquet hall is quoted on how many profiles we maintain, written out before you agree. All starting prices are on our pricing page.

Which factors change the quote for a hotel's map work?

The fee scales with the number of profiles and how much is broken. A single resort with a clean listing needs less of our time than a city hotel whose old listing was duplicated by a travel site, whose restaurant is missing and whose last two hundred reviews were never answered.

Before comparing quotes from any local SEO agency for hotels and resorts in Bangalore, ask how many profiles are included, who writes review replies and in what time, and whether free booking links and rate accuracy are part of the job. Our general local SEO guide for Bangalore explains the same questions for businesses outside hospitality.

  • Number of properties, and of outlets inside each one that need their own listing
  • Whether duplicate or unclaimed listings have to be merged or recovered first
  • Review volume per month and the reply time you want us to keep
  • Whether your booking engine already supports free booking links
  • How many location pages the website needs for airport, exhibition or tech-park searches
  • Fresh photography of rooms and outlets, if the existing set is outdated

Which kinds of lodging do we look after on the map?

  • Airport hotelsProperties near Devanahalli and Bagalur that live on transit, layover and early-flight searches, where shuttle details decide the booking.
  • Business hotelsWeekday properties near Manyata, Whitefield, MG Road and Electronic City, chosen on distance to the client's office and on reliable Wi-Fi.
  • Weekend resortsKanakapura Road, Nandi Hills and Devanahalli-side resorts sold on photos, pools, food and recent reviews from families.
  • Homestays and B&BsOwner-run stays on the city's edge and beyond, where registration with Karnataka Tourism should be checked before listing claims are made.
  • Serviced apartmentsLonger-stay properties that need the right lodging category and clear kitchen and laundry attributes for project teams.
  • Hotels with banquetsProperties whose wedding and conference halls deserve their own visible listing alongside the rooms.
  • Multi-property groupsOwners with three, five or ten addresses who need one account, consistent names and a report per property.

What happens in the first fortnight?

Diagram of how KaamGPT runs Local SEO for hotels and resorts in Bengaluru: Access and audit; Agree the fixes; Correct and rebuild; Connect rates and reviews; Report and maintain
  1. Access and audit

You add us as a manager on the profile. We record every field, find duplicates, check the category, name, pin and photos, and read the last few months of reviews.

  2. Agree the fixes

We send a short list of what must change, what is optional and which outlets need their own listing, and agree it with your general manager before touching anything.

  3. Correct and rebuild

Category, attributes, check-in times, photos and descriptions are corrected; outlet profiles are created; opening hours come off the lodging listing.

  4. Connect rates and reviews

We confirm free booking links through your booking provider, set up post-stay review requests with consent, and start replying.

  5. Report and maintain

From the second month you get a property-wise report of calls, direction requests, booking-link clicks and reviews, with the next month's fixes listed.

Why would a Bengaluru property choose KaamGPT for its map listing?

We have done local SEO for a stay platform

For My Room My Hostel, a student hostel booking platform in Kota, we built the site and run local SEO with pages per area and institute plus its Google Business Profile.

Rules first

We work from Google's own profile guidelines, so fixes do not risk a suspension that would take the hotel off Maps.

Priced per property

Each location carries its own fee and its own report, so a group can add or drop a property without renegotiating everything.

Replies in your voice

Review responses are drafted in your hotel's tone and checked against what actually happened, never generic thank-you lines.

A Bengaluru team you can reach

Our team works by call, WhatsApp and online meetings, and knows the difference between a Hebbal business stay and a Nandi Hills weekend.

What are Google's rules for a hotel Google Business Profile?

Google publishes one set of guidelines for every business profile, and several lines in it apply specifically to lodging. The most visible is about hours. Indoor lodging such as a hotel is asked not to list opening hours at all, because a hotel never closes to its guests. A panel that shows a closing time misleads the late arrival from the airport and is simply against the guidance. Check-in and check-out times belong in their own lodging fields instead.

The second rule concerns outlets. A restaurant, café or bar that sits inside a hotel should have a profile of its own, separate from the rooms. Google also allows departments that operate as distinct entities and serve the public to carry their own listing under a different name. A banquet or conference hall with its own sales desk, contact number and event business may fit that description; a lobby lounge or the gym used only by residents usually does not. We decide case by case, against the guideline wording, rather than creating a listing for every corner of the building.

Third, only one profile is allowed per location. A hotel that has two listings for the same address, often because a travel site or a former manager created one, should merge them, not run both. Fourth, a rented mailing address that the business does not operate from is not eligible, which matters for sales offices that some resort groups keep in the city centre: the profile belongs at the resort, where guests actually sleep.

  • No opening hours on the lodging profile; use check-in and check-out fields
  • A separate profile for each public restaurant, café or bar inside the hotel
  • Distinct departments such as a banquet business assessed for their own listing
  • One profile per address, with duplicates merged
  • No listing at a city sales office or mailing address the guests never visit

How should a hotel name and categorise its listing?

The business name field is meant for the name you use on your signage, letterhead and invoices. Google's guidelines ask businesses not to add unnecessary information such as location descriptors or keywords. So Hotel Sunrise is fine, and Hotel Sunrise Best Budget Stay Near Bangalore Airport is not. Stuffed names sometimes rank briefly, then get edited by Google or reported by competitors, and a suspension takes every review and photo off the map while it is appealed.

If your real, registered and signposted name already includes a place, such as a resort that has always traded with the village name in it, that is your name and it stays. The test is whether a guest would see the same words on the gate. We check the board, the invoices and the website before we touch the field.

The primary lodging category does more for ranking than anything else you control, so it should describe the property as a guest would. A hotel is a Hotel; a property built around leisure facilities on landscaped grounds may be a Resort Hotel; a small owner-run house taking a handful of guests may be a Bed and Breakfast or a homestay-type listing. Secondary categories are earned by real services: a resort with a wedding lawn that it markets and books may add a wedding venue category. Adding categories you cannot back up invites the wrong searches and the wrong reviews.

Star language needs the same care. The Ministry of Tourism runs a voluntary scheme that classifies operational hotels from one star to five-star deluxe, and the classification is valid for five years. A property that does not hold a star classification should not call itself a five-star hotel in its name, description or posts. We describe the facilities instead: rooftop pool, twenty-four-hour room service, airport transfers.

How do free booking links put your own rate on Maps?

When a traveller opens a hotel on Google Maps or in Search, an options panel can list the room price from several sellers. Free booking links are the unpaid entries in that list. They show the property's name, its website and its rate, Google charges nothing for the placement or for the clicks, and they sit under the All options view. For a hotel that pays commission on every travel-site booking, having its own rate in the same list costs nothing beyond keeping the rate correct.

Google decides the order of those links using signals such as user preference, value for money, the experience on the landing page and how accurate the hotel's prices have been in the past. Taking part in paid hotel campaigns does not change where a free link ranks, so a property can switch them on without any ad budget. The link must take the guest to the hotel's own site to book directly; it cannot point to a third-party seller.

Most properties do not connect to Google themselves. If you use a reservation system or a channel manager, that provider may already be connected and may only need you to opt in. Our job is to check that connection, confirm the landing page shows the same rate that Google displays, and fix the gaps. Clicks on free links are reported in Hotel Center, not in Google Ads, so we read those reports each month and put them in your property report.

Google's hotel feeds also have eligibility rules. A hotel must take overnight guests, run a front desk with a manager or owner on site, and publicly show its address and property name. Vacation rentals need to be a furnished private space, and open tents or simple outdoor shelters do not qualify, which matters to some campsite-style resorts outside the city.

  • Free placement and free clicks, shown beside the travel sites
  • Ranking helped by accurate prices and a good landing page
  • Usually switched on through your booking engine or channel manager
  • Clicks read in Hotel Center reports, not in Google Ads

How should hotels ask for reviews and reply to them?

Reviews are where guests check whether the photos are honest. A steady flow of recent ones matters more than a large old total, and replies show a traveller how the property behaves when something goes wrong. We set up one polite request, sent after check-out, by email or WhatsApp only to guests who agreed to hear from you at booking or check-in. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 expects consent to be free, specific, informed and given by a clear action, and limited to the data needed, so the opt-in wording matters.

We never offer discounts, free nights or upgrades in exchange for a review, never write reviews for the property, and never filter requests so that only happy guests are asked. A rating built that way tells the next traveller nothing true, and the stay itself soon contradicts it.

Hotel review replies follow a simple pattern. Thank the guest by name, refer to something specific they mentioned, and, for a complaint, say what has been done and invite them to speak to a named manager. We agree a reply window with you, draft every response in your house tone and send any complaint involving safety, billing or staff conduct to the general manager before posting. A common billing complaint in restaurants and hotels is the service charge; the consumer protection authority's 2022 guidelines say it cannot be added automatically to a food bill, so a reply should never defend a charge the guest did not agree to.

How do proximity searches and edge-of-city stays change the work?

Searches such as hotel near the airport or stay near BIEC are proximity searches: Google weighs how far the property is from the place named, as well as relevance and prominence. Kempegowda International Airport is near Devanahalli, roughly 35 km north of central Bengaluru, and has handled commercial flights since 2008, so a hotel in Yelahanka or Hebbal is not near it in the way one in Devanahalli or Bagalur is. We never pretend otherwise. Instead, a city-side property states its honest drive time and its shuttle, and earns the guests who value that.

The Bangalore International Exhibition Centre is on Tumkur Road, so exhibitor and visitor searches during trade fairs favour properties on that side. Manyata Tech Park and Hebbal draw weekday business stays; Whitefield and Outer Ring Road do the same for the eastern campuses. For each, the profile mentions the landmark only where it is true, the site carries one plain directions page, and photos show the route signs and the entrance guests will actually see.

Resorts and homestays on the edge of Bengaluru, and in hill districts further out, face a different test: trust. The Karnataka Department of Tourism has issued revised guidelines for the registration of homestays and a later circular. News reports describe registration as mandatory and a homestay as a home where the owner's family lives, with a small number of guest rooms, but owners should read the notified guidelines themselves. We ask for the registration status before writing any claim about it on the profile, and leave it out if it is pending.

  • State honest drive times, never a false near-the-airport claim
  • Name a landmark on the profile only where the property is genuinely close
  • Confirm homestay registration with Karnataka Tourism before mentioning it
  • Show the real entrance and approach road in photos

Why do hotel profiles lose guests on Google Maps?

Most of the problems we find on property listings are self-inflicted and quick to fix once someone owns the profile. They usually date from the day a front-office executive claimed the listing and nobody returned to it.

  • The wrong category. A hotel listed as a banquet hall or a restaurant competes for the wrong searches and loses the lodging features Google gives to hotels.
  • Hours on a hotel. Google's guidelines say indoor lodging should not show opening hours, yet many hotel panels read Closed at midnight, which puts off late arrivals.
  • One profile doing three jobs. Rooms, the all-day diner, the bar and the banquet hall squeezed into one listing confuse both guests and Google.
  • Names padded with keywords. Adding words such as Best Luxury Hotel Airport to the name breaks Google's naming rules and can get the listing suspended.
  • Silent reviews. Complaints about housekeeping or check-in left without a reply tell the next guest that nobody is listening.

Frequently asked questions

29 answers
What does a local SEO agency for hotels and resorts in Bangalore actually do each month?

It keeps each property's Google Business Profile accurate and active. That means correcting categories and attributes, refreshing room and outlet photos, replying to new reviews, posting seasonal updates, checking that the direct rate on Maps matches the booking page, watching for edits made by Google or the public, and reporting calls, direction requests and booking-link clicks for every location.

Why should hotels not show opening hours on Google?

Google's own profile guidelines ask hotels and other indoor lodging not to list hours, because guests can arrive at any time. A panel that says Closed at night confuses travellers landing late at Kempegowda airport. Check-in and check-out times go in their own lodging fields instead, and outlets such as the restaurant carry their hours on their own profiles.

Can restaurants and bars inside hotels have separate Google listings?

Yes. Google expects a restaurant, café or bar inside a hotel to have a profile of its own, separate from the rooms. Each gets its own category, hours, menu link and photos. Google does not allow alcohol ads in India and Indian rules bar surrogate promotion, so the bar's posts and photos should present the venue, food and atmosphere rather than drinks offers.

Should banquet halls in hotels get their own Google Business Profile?

Possibly. Google allows departments that operate as distinct entities and serve the public to have their own listing under a different name. A banquet business with its own sales team, number and bookings may qualify; a meeting room used only by in-house guests probably does not. We check against the guideline wording before creating one.

Can hotels add the words luxury or near airport to their name on Maps?

Not unless those words are part of your real name on signage and invoices. Google's guidelines ask businesses not to add keywords or location descriptors to the name field. Padded names can be edited back by Google or reported, and a suspension hides the listing, its photos and reviews until an appeal succeeds.

Which category should Bengaluru resorts choose on Google?

The one a guest would use to describe it. A property built around leisure facilities and grounds often fits Resort Hotel; a city property is usually Hotel; a small owner-run home may fit Bed and Breakfast. Add secondary categories only for services you really sell, such as a wedding venue for a resort that books functions on its lawn.

What are Google's free booking links for hotels?

They are unpaid entries in the price list Google shows for a hotel in Search and Maps, carrying the property's name, website and rate. Google charges nothing for the placement or the clicks. The link must lead to the hotel's own booking site, so it puts your direct rate in the same list as the travel sites.

Do hotels need to run Google Ads to appear in free booking links?

No. Google says taking part in paid hotel campaigns does not change how free links rank. If you later want paid hotel campaigns or search ads for peak dates, our <a href="/best-google-ads-agency-for-hotels-and-resorts-in-bengaluru">Google Ads page for hotels</a> covers that work, with ad spend billed by Google to you.

How do hotels switch on free booking links?

Usually through the company that runs your booking engine or channel manager, which may already be connected to Google and only needs you to opt in. We confirm the connection, check the property meets Hotel Center eligibility, and make sure the landing page shows the same rate Google displays, because past price accuracy affects ranking.

Where can we see clicks from free booking links?

In the Reports section of Google Hotel Center, not in Google Ads, since these links carry no campaign tracking. We pull those numbers each month into your property report beside profile calls and direction requests, so you can compare direct-rate interest across locations and seasons.

How quickly can you fix Google profiles for hotels in Bengaluru?

Most single-property audits and corrections are done in about 14 days, once you add us as a manager. Recovering a listing someone else claimed, merging duplicates or waiting for Google to review a category or name change can take longer, and we tell you when a step depends on Google rather than us.

How much does local SEO cost for a hotel in Bangalore?

KaamGPT charges from ₹4,999 monthly for each hotel location. A hotel with separate restaurant or banquet listings is quoted on the profiles we maintain, in writing, before work starts. New photography or a direct-booking page is priced separately, and our <a href="/pricing">pricing page</a> lists every starting fee.

We own five hotels across Bengaluru; how is a group priced?

Per location. Google ranks each address on its own, so each property gets its own profile work, reply queue and report, starting at ₹4,999 a month each. Outlets with their own listings are counted in the quote. A group can add or drop a property later without the rest of the arrangement changing.

How do we rank for hotel near Bangalore airport searches?

Distance matters most for proximity searches, so a property near Devanahalli or Bagalur has a natural edge. Everyone else wins on clarity: an accurate pin, airport shuttle and early check-in attributes, recent reviews that mention transfers, and a directions page with an honest drive time. We never claim a property is near the airport when it is not.

Can a hotel on the city side still win searches for stays near BIEC?

BIEC is on Tumkur Road, so properties on that side are naturally closer. A hotel elsewhere can still be found by exhibitors who value its location or price if it states the real travel time, mentions transport options and has reviews from past trade-fair guests. Overstating closeness tends to produce poor reviews.

Which photos help hotels most on Google Maps?

Current daylight photos of every room type, the bathroom, the view, the breakfast spread, the pool or garden, the lobby and the entrance as seen from the road. Label them clearly so a guest booking a standard room sees that room. Retire images taken before a renovation, and add new ones whenever something changes.

Which amenities should hotels fill in on their profile?

Every attribute Google offers that is true for you: parking, airport shuttle, Wi-Fi, pool, restaurant, room service, pet policy, accessibility and air conditioning. Travellers filter by these, and missing ones can keep you out of a filtered search. We review them after any change, such as a pool closed for repairs.

How do hotels ask guests for Google reviews without breaking rules?

One polite message after check-out, by email or WhatsApp, sent only to guests who gave consent at booking or check-in. Every guest is asked, not just the happy ones, and nothing is offered in return. Under India's DPDP Act, consent must be specific and given by a clear action, so the opt-in wording is part of the setup.

Who writes the hotel review replies, you or our staff?

We draft every reply in your house tone within an agreed window. Routine praise and small issues are posted after your approval rules, while complaints about safety, billing or staff conduct go to your general manager first. A reply names the fix that was made and gives the guest a named person to contact.

How should hotels reply when a guest complains about a service charge?

Carefully and honestly. The consumer protection authority's 2022 guidelines say hotels and restaurants cannot add a service charge automatically or by default to a food bill, and must tell guests it is voluntary. A reply should acknowledge the complaint, explain your current practice, and offer to resolve it directly, never argue that a charge was compulsory.

Our homestay is near Nandi Hills; do we need registration before listing it?

Karnataka Tourism has issued revised homestay registration guidelines and a later circular. Reports describe registration as mandatory and set conditions such as the owner living on the premises, but read the notified guidelines or ask the department. We will set up your profile, and mention registration on it only once you hold it.

Can a campsite or tent resort near Bengaluru use free booking links?

Not if it offers only open tents or simple shelters. Google's Hotel Center eligibility excludes that kind of outdoor lodging, and requires overnight stays, a front desk and a manager or owner on site. A glamping property with furnished, enclosed units may be a different case, which we check against the rules before you apply.

Can hotels call themselves five-star on Google?

Only if the property holds that classification under the Ministry of Tourism's voluntary scheme, which runs from one star to five-star deluxe and is valid for five years. Without it, describe the facilities instead. The classification is also not something to add to the business name field.

Will the local SEO work help our hotel website rank too?

Partly. Location pages and a cleaner booking page help, but ranking room, wedding or destination pages in ordinary results is broader site work. That is covered on our <a href="/best-seo-company-for-hotels-and-resorts-in-bengaluru">SEO page for hotels and resorts</a>, and through our <a href="/services/seo">SEO service</a> generally.

Does local SEO help with weekend resort bookings from Bengaluru families?

Yes, because families comparing resorts on Kanakapura Road or near Nandi Hills judge photos, reviews and distance on the Maps panel. Social campaigns can add reach before a long weekend; our <a href="/best-meta-ads-agency-for-hotels-and-resorts-in-bengaluru">Meta Ads page for resorts</a> explains how that runs beside the profile work.

Can you bring corporate offsite and wedding enquiries as well?

The profile helps planners find and shortlist your venue, but steady event pipelines usually need dedicated campaigns, forms and follow-up. Our <a href="/best-lead-generation-company-for-hotels-and-resorts-in-bengaluru">lead generation page for hotels</a> covers that, and the <a href="/services/lead-generation">lead generation service</a> starts at ₹24,999 a month.

Can we talk to someone about our hotel's listing before signing up?

Yes. Call or WhatsApp our Bengaluru team on +91 79767 82366 with your Google Maps link. We will look at the listing, tell you the two or three most urgent fixes, and send a written per-location quote if you want us to carry on.

What can hotels do if a travel site created a duplicate listing?

Google allows one profile per location, so duplicates should be merged or removed rather than left running. We identify which one holds the reviews and history, request a merge or removal through Google's process, and point the surviving listing at your own website and booking page.

Can our city sales office have a Google Business Profile for the resort?

Not as the resort's listing. Google does not accept addresses a business does not operate from for guests, and the resort's profile belongs where guests stay. A sales office that genuinely receives walk-in visitors with staff present may need separate assessment.
